Recycled Australian Hardwood Bridging Timbers
Over the years we have reclaimed & recycled an enormous amount of hardwood bridging timber that had been used in bridges all over Australia. The timbers used on our old bridges were typically the hardest of Australian hardwoods, such as grey ironbark and red ironbark.
Because they had been naturally air dried, stabilised and conditioned over the decades, recycled bridging timbers are some of the most highly sought after due to their impecable structual integrity, strength and stability.
Bridging timbers are typically remilled where it can then re-used in other bridges, recycled hardwood posts, recycled hardwood beams, joists and trusses or as boardwalks and exterior decking where there is a requirement for timber that will not weather or be damaged by nature’s elements.
